Notification by John, abbot of Eynsham, that after the hearing of a suit between the Abbey and the Priory, the Abbey has quitclaimed to the Priory its right to receive 10s. yearly in token of their subjection to the Abbey. The Abbey will return to the Priory the documents on which the claim was founded. The Priory has paid ten silver marks for this quitclaim. 13 March 1241.
