92. Notification by William Drugel that having brought a writ against the monks concerning the making of a ditch and plantation in Broadwas to the injury of his tenement there, he has agreed on the payment of 1 mark by the monks, that the ditch shall remain. The plantation is not to be enlarged by the monks or fenced, and William will not make a plantation to the injury of their tenement. 1226. Sciant presentes et futuri quod cum ego Willelmus Drugel portassem breue domini regis contra et conuentum Wigorn[] super quodam fossato leuato inter portam curie prioris in Bradewas usque ad molendinum ad nocumentum liberi tenementi mei et super quadam plantatione facta inter predictum molendinum et tenementum meum ab occidente dicti molendini quietum clamaui pro me et heredibus meis in perpetuum quicquid versus dictum priorem et conuentum exegi pro una marca argenti quam mihi dederunt ita quod fossatum illud sicut fuit permanebit Sed plantationem prefatam uersus tenementum meum scilicet ab occidente plantationis illius non augmentabunt nec sepem circa illam plantationem facient ad peiorationem mei prefati tenementi Nec ego Willelmus Drugel nec heredes mei plantabimus nec pletiemus propius aquilonari aliquid quod sit ad nocumentum tenementi dicti prioris et conuentus Wigorn[]
