770 Alia donacio eiusdem per testamentum. John FitzAlan H's will, whereby he bequeaths £20 with his cross to the aid of the Holy Land. To Haughmond, with his body for burial, he grants Milford mill, 2 carucates in Upton, and one of his war horses fully armed for the use of a knight (6 Oct. 1267). In nomine P[atris] et F[ilii] et S[spiritus] S[ancti] Amen Ego Johannes filius Alani dominus de Arundell[] anno domini millesimo cclxvii feria quinta proxima ante festum beati Dionisii apud Wrokecestr[] sana mente sano consilio coram multis testamentum presens condidi sub hac forma in primis commendam animam meam deo in celo collocandam et corpus meum legavi in ecclesia beati Johannis evangeliste de Haghmon[] cum predecessoribus meis sepeliendum prout mihi locus est preparatus Temporalia autem mea legavi hoc modo videlicet xxli cum cruce mea in subsidium terre sancte Item cum corpore meo apud Haghmon legavi molendinum de Muleforde cum omnimoda secta sua tam eciam cum reparacione molendini quam stagni cum tractu molarum et ceteris pertinentiis debitis et consuetis similiter eciam cum duabus carucatis bonis de manerio meo de Upton Item apud Haghmon[] legavi unum de dextrariis meis cum armatura ad militem plenarie et honorifice pertinente etc ut ibidem patet
