A7 Henry, prior of Lanercost, and the convent promise, on obtaining peaceful possession of the church of Mitford, to grant the prior and convent of Durham whatever security and immunity they may require regarding their church of Meldon. Otherwise they are to pay Durham £200 sterling as compensation and expenses, and also £200 silver as Holy Land subsidy. Lanercost, [20 September] 1310. (Original, Durham U.
