Midd[lesexa] Pro ponte apud Templemyll[] in parochia de Hakeney etc Decimo die iulii anno quarto regis Henrici octavi Iuratores presentant quod est quidam communis pons in Hakeney in comitatu Midd[lesexe] vocatus Templemilbruge alias vocatus Marshstretebruge situatus in marisco vocato Hakeney marshe in Hakeney predicta ultra rivulum ibidem in communi via que ducit a Hakeney predicta usque Rokholt in comitatu Essex[e] qui est ita ruinosus confractus et diruptus quod populi domini Rogeri tam pedestres quam equestres per viam et pontem illos equitare itinerare neque ire possunt absque magno periculo corporum suorum et bonorum ac catallorum suorum super pontem predictum cariatorum et portatorum perdicione et distruccione Quemquidem pontem Willelmus Teye nuper de Colcestr[ia] in comitatu Essex[e] gent[ilis] racione cuiusdam pasture vocate Wallis iacentis in Hakeney predicta quondam Andree de Barkyng et postea Georgii Schordiche[] tenetur reparare edificare et sustinere de tempore in tempus tociens quociens opus seu necesse fore contingent Et quod tenentes predicte pasture ac omnes illi quorum statum dictus Willelmus in pastura predicta habet a tempore quo non exstat memoria homini predictum pontem reparare edificare et sustinere debuerunt et consueverunt cum necesse fuerit Et quod idem pons ita ruinosus confractus et diruptus fuit et adhuc existit a vicesimo die iunii anno regni domini regis nunc quarte usque diem capcionis huius inquisicionis ad commune nocumentum populi domini regis predicte etc Per cont[estationem] de anno quarto Henrici octavi rotulo vicesimo in bancho regis
