    Johannes Dei gracia comes Holtsacie et Stormarie. Vniuersis . . con sulibus et communitatibus ciuitatum Lubeke, Stralessund, Rostock, Wis|imarie, Cam pen, Stoueren, Herderwik ac omnium aliarurn de Sudersee ceterisque mercatoribus vniuersis salutem in Domino sempiter|]nam. Noueritis, nos propter bonum pacis et defensionem communis mercatoris oppidum Odeslo cum omnibus attinenciis suis com||parasse. Eapropter vos vniuersos et singulos sub nostre pacis et firme tuicio- nis vna cum vestris bonis presidium recipimus per presentes, vt bona vestra inter ciuitates Lubeke et Hamborch infra hinc et festum Pasche nunc proxiine affuturum secure et pacifice deducere sub nostro firmo conductu et stabili valeatis. Adicimus nichilominus per presentes, quod omnia dampna, que huiusmodi bonis inter dictas ciuitates sub nostro conductu deferendis illata fuerint, integraliter refundere tene- bimur et ex toto. Jn cuius rei testimonium et firmitatem sigillum nostrum presen- tibus est appensum. Datum Lubeke, anno Domini MCCC quadragesimo, in Jnuen- cione sancti Steffani prothomartiris.
