    Nos frater Otto abbas monasterii totusque conuentus Altiuadensis tenore presencium recognoscimus vniuersis, quod per legacionem testamentariam olim pie recordacionis domini Lytwini plebani de Manholtslog percepimus xxii sexagenas grossorum in parata pecunia nobis a Benessio de Herslag dicti domini Lytwini fratre germano asiggnatas, promittimusque et sincera fide spondemus dicto Benessio et suis heredibus, quod diem anniuersarium dicti domini Lytwini et suorum antecessorum tam cum missis quam eciam aliis funeralibus officiis annis singulis peragere volumus et tenemur iuxta nostri ordinis obseruanciam et ritum et iuxta monasterii conswetudinem, prout pro nobilibus et militibus et benefactoribus fieri est consuetum. In cuius rei testimonium et robur sigillum nostrum vna cum sigillo conuentus presentibus sunt apensa. Anno domini Mo CCCo lxxxxvi. Datum in die sancti Mathie apostoli.
