Abstract: (b) Record of an agreement between Ralph of Whitchurch and the prior and canons concerning estover and common of pasture in Wighill and Easedike, by which it was settled that the canons were to have in the park of Wighill, with free entry and egress, eight waggon- loads of wood for fuel within the fortnight before Michaelmas, and common of pasture there for 31 horses from the Invention of Holy Cross to Michaelmas and after that for 31 pigs until Martinmas. Further, as touching the right of William the rector of Healaugh Church to have pasture in the park of Wighill by reason of his church of Healaugh, the prior and convent agree, in return for a toft and croft in Bilton given by Bartholomew Thtiret to the rector of Healaugh, of which Ralph has given them peaceful possession, that they will protect Ralph from all demands of William the rector and his successors.
