Abstract: Grant by Richard son of Geoffrey of Gunthorpe, in perpetual and free alms, to the church of St. Neot and the monks of Bec (Hellouin) serving God there, of the church of Hemington, for the spiritual welfare of himself and his heirs, and for the souls of Geoffrey his father and Ivo his brother, the latter of whom, with Thurstan the priest, formerly granted the church to the monks and confirmed it by his charter. The grantor enjoins that the monks shall hold the church for ever, as Thurstan the priest most fully and freely held it at any time. 1176.
