Abstract: 226. Notification' by Bartholomew bishop of Exeter, papal judge-delegate, that the litigation between the cathedral priory and the abbey of Oseney concerning the church of Bibury (co. Glouc.) was terminated by a composition made in his presence, Bishop Roger and Prior Ralf, for Worcester, and Abbot Edward and Prior Harding, for Oseney, having submitted to the award of arbiters. The canons of Oseney are to have possession of the church rendering 60s. annually to the monks of Worcester, and the bishop of Worcester shall place a canon in the church of Oseney who shall offer divine office for the church and bishop of Worcester. 1173.
