Abstract: 632 De x s. annuis priori de Sancto Winwall solvendis pro dictis decimis. Notarial instrument recording the dispute between the abbey and the prior of St. Winwaloe (Wereham) which came before the abp's commissary during his visitation of the diocese. The prior claimed that he ought to receive an annual pension of a mark from Hunstanton church in lieu of tithes from the land of Adam de Mustrell but the abbey was paying him only 10s. The commissary ordered that he should be paid the full amount until the case was heard. When it was heard, however, the prior was unable to produce his documents and was only awarded 10s. a year (8 May 1304).
