Abstract: HAGANDBY. [A.D. 1267] Final concord in the Court of Sir Henry de Percy at Spofforth, on Monday after the Feast of St. Nicholas, 52 Henry son of John, before persons named, between Maurice de Tadcaster, Alice his wife, Alan Calle and Margery his wife, and the prior and convent of the Park of Healaugh, concerning common of pasture which Maurice Alice Alan and Margery sought against them in Hagandby, whereby Maurice etc. quitclaimed altogether the common which they had by reason of two carucates of land in Tadcaster and Smaws which John de Percy and Gilbert Mone- tarius held there, whose heirs were Alice and Margery. The canons gave for the quitclaim one mark of silver and one quarter of wheat.
